What is breast revision or implant removal?
Breast revision encompasses a range of procedures: implant exchange (changing size or type), implant removal with or without replacement, correction of capsular contracture, address of implant malposition or rippling, or scar tissue management. En bloc removal (removal of the implant with its surrounding capsule intact) is available for patients who require it. All procedures are performed under general anesthesia in a fully equipped, private OR.
