Breast Lift
Natural shape

Restoring youthful position — without implants
Breast ptosis (sagging) is a natural consequence of pregnancy, weight changes, breastfeeding, and aging — and it's something no bra or exercise program can reverse. A breast lift reshapes and elevates the breast tissue for a more youthful, proportionate contour. At Surgical Suites of Beverly Hills, every lift is performed in a private OR with a dedicated team experienced in breast surgery.

What is a breast lift?
A mastopexy (breast lift) removes excess skin, reshapes the breast tissue, and repositions the nipple and areola to a higher, more youthful position — without necessarily changing breast size. The degree of lift required determines the incision pattern: periareolar (around the nipple), vertical (lollipop), or anchor-pattern (inverted T). The procedure is performed under general anesthesia and typically takes 2–3 hours. Most patients return home the same day.

FAQs
Common questions about this service and what to expect.
Follow-up care is coordinated through your surgeon's office. Our team ensures you have the support you need throughout recovery.
Breast lift at our facility is performed under general anesthesia, administered by a board-certified anesthesiologist.
A breast lift can affect milk ducts and nipple sensation in some patients. If future breastfeeding is a consideration, discuss this with your surgeon before proceeding.
Cosmetic breast lift is not covered by health insurance. If ptosis is causing physical symptoms such as skin irritation or rash, partial coverage may apply in some cases.
Results are long-lasting, though aging, gravity, and weight changes continue over time. Patients who maintain a stable weight and wear supportive bras tend to preserve their results longer.
Yes — lift with implants is a common and highly effective combination for patients who want both improved shape and added volume. Both are addressed in a single surgical session.
Yes — breast lift requires incisions that leave scars. The extent depends on the technique. Most scars fade significantly over 12–18 months and are hidden by clothing and swimwear. Your surgeon will discuss scar placement and care at your consultation.
Most patients take 1–2 weeks off work. Activity restrictions typically lift at 4–6 weeks. Implant-free lifts generally have a slightly faster recovery than combined lift-augmentation procedures.
